5 YEAR WARRANTY

At ONE HOUSE we develop Dutch design made in Germany. We use the best materials so that you can enjoy our furniture in the long term. So that you are always on the safe side, we offer a 5-year guarantee on our entire range, but of course we expect a significantly longer lifespan for our products.

Our guarantee applies under the conditions set out below and is a special additional service that we provide in addition to the statutory guarantee. Therefore, the warranty does not affect your legal rights.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on all items in our ONE HOUSE collection and guarantees that we will correct any potential defects or replace the product within the warranty period.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY?

The guarantee applies to all products purchased from ONE HOUSE after January 1, 2020. The warranty period is 5 years from the date of purchase or from the date we shipped the product to you (if the product has not yet been delivered at the time of purchase).

HOW DO YOU SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM?

You must submit warranty claims within a reasonable period of time after discovery of the defect and at the latest before the end of the warranty period at the One House Store where you originally purchased the item. Please present your proof of purchase so that we can track the place and time of your product purchase or product delivery. For insurance reasons, we may obtain appropriate documentation of the defect from you in the form of photos or comparable images or, if necessary, request that you return the product for further investigation of the defect.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

General wear and tear, cuts, scratches or other damage due to misuse, accidents, impacts or external damage and discoloration due to improper use or handling;

  • Damage and discoloration caused by lack of or incorrect care in accordance with the ONE HOUSE care instructions;
  • Products that have been stored, assembled or used improperly, misused or modified, as well as products that have been exposed to high temperature fluctuations or direct sunlight or that have been used in an environment for which the product is not suitable, e.g. B. stored outdoors or in humid environments such as a bathroom.

WHAT STEPS DO WE TAKE TO ELIMINATE THE DEFECT?

If you report a defect, our ONE HOUSE customer support will investigate the issue and determine whether it is covered by the warranty. We will then decide whether the defect can be remedied or the item needs to be replaced. ONE HOUSE reserves the right to determine what action to take in the event of a valid claim and will cover the cost of replacing or repairing defective parts. If the product you originally purchased is no longer available, ONE HOUSE will decide on a suitable replacement product.

If the defect can be remedied, the repair will be carried out by ONE HOUSE or a partner selected by ONE HOUSE using the necessary means. This eliminates the defect without any further possibility of a price reduction or other compensation.
